Relax in our luxury holiday villa located at the prestigious new Bay View Resort on the south east coast of Crete. The single-storey two bedroom villa can accommodate up to six people with a double bed in the master bedroom, two singles in the second bedroom, and a double sofa-bed in the lounge.

Explore the many natural, historical, and cultural treasures of east Crete: traditional mountain villages; Minoan and Venetian ruins; the monastery of Moni Kapsa, perched on the mountainside; gentle gorge walks; and undiscovered coves and beaches to name just a few.

Laze in the sun on the landscaped roof terrace or southerly facing front balcony, or find shade in the rear balcony or under a pool-side umbrella, or take the short trip to one of the many local beaches - some of the best in east Crete.

As evening draws in, try your hand at preparing your own Cretan dinner in the villa's kitchen, equipped with all you need for a self-catering holiday, or take your pick from any of the many excellent local beach-front restaurants, tavernas, and bars.

Xenophilia - the love of all things foreign - is endemic in Crete. Makrigialos (officially spelled Makry-Gialos), with it's permanent population of around 1000 inhabitants, offers an outstanding example of the welcome visitors receive; one that is unmatched anywhere else in Europe.
